Model Integrity was born from local model and photographer Shannon Tacheny’s passion to offer the community honest information and legit contacts in the talent industry, based on her own experiences.  The modeling industry, an easy target for scams, can often leave aspiring models (& parents of young models) misguided and short hundreds or thousands of dollars, leaving them no further along in their pursuits than when they started.  When Shannon began modeling over twelve years ago she faced many of the same obstacles, and soon realized the need for providing aspiring models upfront advice.

Having modeled for businesses such as Target, Rocco Altobelli Salons, and Best Buy, and now raising two young children also part of the local talent market, Shannon has an experienced perspective. She has given numerous workshops & presentations, and even appeared as a radio guest regarding her passion to help individuals pursue modeling the most direct & effective way.

Through events and workshops, Model Integrity exists to offer potential models of all ages honest information on how to break into the modeling industry.  The intention is to give aspiring talent the information they need to realistically pursue their dreams, whether that means making it big as a model or actor, or just pursuing a part-time hobby as local talent.

Our workshops are built to give you a complete understanding of how the modeling industry works.  From connecting with local agencies, avoiding industry-related scams,

marketing yourself to best catch the attention of agents and clients, and even learning how to manage your modeling income, we cover it all.  You will leave not only more informed than ever, but with a better understanding of how you personally can market yourself or your child in this competitive industry.

A “big break” is easier said than done.  Rarely do individuals get discovered walking down the street.  Rather they work hard, connect with the right people, and put their best face forward.  Knowing exactly which “face” the industry is looking for and who the “right people” are comes with experience, and that’s what we have.

Whether you have a high-fashion look or are interested in portraying the everyday, ordinary person in ads and commercials, a Model Integrity event will speak to you.  If you have little to no experience, have pursued one or more other routes without success, or are hoping to make your own “big break,” Model Integrity is the right first (or next) step.
